Our team will install energy efficient improvemtns in your home and provide the knowledge and experience to guide you through the financial incentives offered by local, state and federal agencies!
Starting in 2009 homeowners can qualify for federal tax incentives by simply making home energy improvements that include insulation upgrades, heating and cooling upgrades. The incentive is a total of 30% of the cost of the upgrade up to $1500. Upgrades include window replacement, window upgrades including films, insulation upgrades and air sealing. Mechanical upgrades include furnace, boiler, and domestic hot water upgrades. |
Also starting in 2009, homeowners who install solar water heaters, geothermal heat pumps and wind energy systems are eligible for a tax credit of up to 30% of the cost.
