Choosing an Energy Rater
Home Energy Raters and Green Verifiers are the independent third party that are certified by RESNET and other build green programs to inspect and provide HERS Ratings, green verification and performance testing for LEED for Homes, Build Green NM, Energy Star and federal and state tax credits. Raters who issue compliance with federal tax credits are required be insured. Practical trade knowledge and experience of residential construction practices and products and residential mechanical systems is essential to providing you with accurate and cost effective solutions that do not impact your bottom line and schedule.
